A Virtuoso Thunder on the Piano.
With the innovative B-A-C-H Project, the Brucknertage were enriched with a musical rarity. The Bulgarian pianist Dora Deliyska presented a challenging program by Bach, Shostakovich and Chopin.
The four leitmotifs, in each of the tonalities B – A – C – H, created an outstanding sound experience and an and own unique dramaturgical concept.
With her fascinating creative style and breath-taking virtuosity, Deliyska makes Bach fugues sound crystal clear, Shostakovich flows intoxicatingly and cheekily along in his Preludes, while Chopin études alternate between a gigantic thunder of virtuosity and dreamy episodes. Exquisite! FD
